The Constitution of the Foundation
dictates the "Purpose" of the Foundation to be educational, scientific, and charitable.
Among other things,
Foundation purposes shall:
Encourage and assist worthy projects
in scientific dental research.
Encourage and assist graduate
dentists in continuing education
and the improvement of scientific
knowledge and skills.
Encourage and assist students
at all levels, pre-dental, dental,
graduate, and post-doctoral, in the
attainment of their goals.
Encourage and assist in the
establishment of professional
libraries for graduate dentists,
graduate and post-doctoral
students and dental students.

Foundation Membership
Membership in the ICD USA Section Foundation is open to all ICD Fellows, in good standing, and to other individuals who show an interest in supporting the interests of the Foundation.
Foundation Charities
The USA Section Foundation supports many Missions and Charities; both within the United States of America and around the Globe.
The History of the dental profession is of prime importance to the USA Section Foundation. Only through the understanding of the progress attained since dentists began communicating and sharing knowledge, can the profession continue to advance.
Only through a sharing of knowledge can all dentists have an opportunity to provide quality dental care to those in need, throughout the world
