The purpose of the USA Section Foundation is to advance the art and science of dentistry by providing a means for dentists, and other interested parties, to share their knowledge, skills, and resources; whenever and wherever the need may arise.

The ICD has had many great social events over the years, located from the east coast to the west; and Canada to the border of Mexico.

In 2002, the meeting was extended to include an optional trip to Branson, MO.

In 2003 a cruise to Alaska was offered.

In 2004 excursions were in and around Salt Lake City followed by a post meeting trip to Southwest Utah.

In 2005, a week long tour of the areas around Minnesota and Wisconsin was enjoyed by those who took advantage of the Post Tour.

2006 found the USA Section meeting in Halifax, Nova Scotia with the largest attendance in recent years.

2007 found the CEC visiting Atlanta, Georgia,. Clinicians from the area informed, while opportunities to visit sites of the area beckoned. The after-trip was to Savannah and the Georgia lowlands.

In late March, 2008, a large gathering met for learning and socialization in sunny Arizona. Two of the four lectures were received from Dr. Michael Glick, Editor of the Journal of the American Dental Association, and Dr. Jack Dillenburg, the Dean of the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health. Other faculty members joined for an interesting and insightful two-day event. Side trips to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin West and the Heard Museum were but some of the social activities.

In the Spring of 2009 we will meet in Baltimore, MD. You can count on an excellent program. Details will follow.
